Diego Costa has been offered the chance to spend a year on loan at Fenerbahce, according to a report from Milliyet.
The Spain international was widely expected to move to Atletico Madrid in the summer, but failed to agree a deal in time due to complications over wages and the La Liga side’s transfer ban.
Costa is still expected to leave Chelsea in January, but could also be handed a lifeline for the first half of this season as his agent looks to negotiate him a temporary move to Turkey.
The Spain international has two years remaining on his Chelsea contract but has been told to find a new club by manager Antonio Conte.
Costa is currently training away from the Blues first team, awaiting a move to Atletico Madrid, but may be forced into taking up the offer from Fenerbache should the Liga side fail to strike a deal with Chelsea chiefs…
